Across TCGA patient cohorts, CAT mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 21 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CAT-associated genes across cancer lineages are EGFR_pY1068, FoxM1, and FOXO3a_pS318_S321. Each is linked with CAT in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CAT-to-partner and partner-to-CAT results are reported.
