CAST

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, CAST protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 20,342 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CAST-associated genes across cancer lineages are CENPO, MYBL2, and CDCA7. Each is linked with CAST in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CAST-to-partner and partner-to-CAST results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, CAST versus CENPO in LSCC, with a Pearson correlation of -0.45.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (CAST→partner) and Y-score (partner→CAST) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
