Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CASP6 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CASP6 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher CASP6 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CASP6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.

PDAC, CCRCC, and GBM are the cancer types where CASP6 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
