Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CASP4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CASP4 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher CASP4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CASP4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCS, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where CASP4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
