Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CASKIN2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CASKIN2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher CASKIN2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CASKIN2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where CASKIN2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
