Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CASC8 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CASC8 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher CASC8 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CASC8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THCA and UCEC show a favorable association.

LUAD, ACC, and HNSC are the cancer types where CASC8 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
