Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CASC23 RNA is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CASC23 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher CASC23 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CASC23 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SARC show a favorable association.

ESCA, HNSC, and BLCA are the cancer types where CASC23 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
