Across TCGA cell cohorts, CARS2 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,109 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CARS2-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Ribosomal protein import into nucleus, Post-transcriptional tethering of RNA polymerase II gene DNA at nuclear periphery, and DNA replication proofreading. Each is linked with CARS2 in more than 15 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CARS2-to-partner and partner-to-CARS2 results are reported.
