Across TCGA patient cohorts, CARMIL2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,285 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CARMIL2-associated genes across cancer lineages are PPP1R16B, ZAP70, and GZMB. Each is linked with CARMIL2 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CARMIL2-to-partner and partner-to-CARMIL2 results are reported.
