Across TCGA patient cohorts, CAPZA1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 30 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CAPZA1-associated genes across cancer lineages are Caspase-7-cleavedD198, 14-3-3_beta, and EGFR_pY1068. Each is linked with CAPZA1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CAPZA1-to-partner and partner-to-CAPZA1 results are reported.
