Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CAPS2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CAPS2 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher CAPS2 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CAPS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and BRCA show a favorable association.

UCS, BRCA, and UVM are the cancer types where CAPS2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
