Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CAPS2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CAPS2 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher CAPS2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CAPS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, BRCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where CAPS2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
