Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CAPN15 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CAPN15 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher CAPN15 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CAPN15 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
SCLC, PRAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where CAPN15 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
