Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CAPN13 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CAPN13 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher CAPN13 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CAPN13 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.
ACC, COAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where CAPN13 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
