Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CAPG Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CAPG data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher CAPG Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CAPG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, STAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where CAPG Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
