Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CAMSAP2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CAMSAP2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher CAMSAP2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CAMSAP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUAD show a favorable association.
ESCA, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where CAMSAP2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
