Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CALML4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CALML4 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher CALML4 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CALML4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and LSCC show a favorable association.

PDAC, LSCC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where CALML4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
