Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CALHM5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CALHM5 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher CALHM5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CALHM5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LGG and SKCM are the cancer types where CALHM5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
