Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CACNG1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CACNG1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher CACNG1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CACNG1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and UCEC show a favorable association.
CESC, PRAD, and STAD are the cancer types where CACNG1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
