Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CACNA2D2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CACNA2D2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher CACNA2D2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CACNA2D2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and STAD show a favorable association.
THYM, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where CACNA2D2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
