Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CACNA1F Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CACNA1F data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher CACNA1F Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CACNA1F expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD show a favorable association.
DLBC, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where CACNA1F Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
