Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CACNA1C-AS3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CACNA1C-AS3 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher CACNA1C-AS3 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CACNA1C-AS3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and ESCA show a favorable association.

MESO, BLCA, and TGCT are the cancer types where CACNA1C-AS3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
