Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CACNA1A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CACNA1A data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher CACNA1A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CACNA1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SCLC show a favorable association.

THCA, ACC, and BRCA are the cancer types where CACNA1A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
