Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CABS1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CABS1 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher CABS1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CABS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
LGG, LUAD, and GBM are the cancer types where CABS1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
