Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CA5BP1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CA5BP1 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher CA5BP1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CA5BP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and OV show a favorable association.
KIRP, LIHC, and ACC are the cancer types where CA5BP1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
