Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CA5BP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CA5BP1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher CA5BP1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CA5BP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

HNSC, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where CA5BP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
