Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CA5AP1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CA5AP1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher CA5AP1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CA5AP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and BLCA show a favorable association.

LUSC, ESCA, and HNSC are the cancer types where CA5AP1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
