Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CA13 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CA13 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher CA13 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CA13 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA and PRAD are the cancer types where CA13 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
