Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CA12 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated CA12 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher CA12 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CA12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC and SKCM are the cancer types where CA12 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
