The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher C9orf92 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C9orf92 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and SARC show a favorable association.
LUAD, UVM, and STAD are the cancer types where C9orf92 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
