Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C9orf152 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C9orf152 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher C9orf152 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C9orf152 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and PDAC show a favorable association.

UCEC, PDAC, and LUAD are the cancer types where C9orf152 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
