Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C8orf88 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C8orf88 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher C8orf88 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C8orf88 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC and SCLC are the cancer types where C8orf88 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
