Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C8orf82 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C8orf82 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher C8orf82 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C8orf82 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC, MESO, and LIHC are the cancer types where C8orf82 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
