Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C7orf69 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C7orf69 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher C7orf69 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C7orf69 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.
HNSC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where C7orf69 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
