Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C7orf31 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C7orf31 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher C7orf31 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C7orf31 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, COAD, and SARC are the cancer types where C7orf31 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
