Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C6orf118 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C6orf118 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher C6orf118 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C6orf118 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.

OV, PDAC, and LUAD are the cancer types where C6orf118 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
