Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C5orf51 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C5orf51 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher C5orf51 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C5orf51 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where C5orf51 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
