Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C5orf15 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C5orf15 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher C5orf15 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C5orf15 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, COAD, and BLCA are the cancer types where C5orf15 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
