Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C4orf48 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C4orf48 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher C4orf48 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C4orf48 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC are the cancer types where C4orf48 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
