Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C4orf36 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C4orf36 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher C4orf36 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C4orf36 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
DLBC and BLCA are the cancer types where C4orf36 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
