Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C4orf3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C4orf3 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher C4orf3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C4orf3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRP are the cancer types where C4orf3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
