Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C3orf22 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C3orf22 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher C3orf22 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C3orf22 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, BRCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where C3orf22 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
