Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C2orf72 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C2orf72 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher C2orf72 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C2orf72 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC are the cancer types where C2orf72 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
