Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C2orf66 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated C2orf66 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher C2orf66 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C2orf66 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and BLCA show a favorable association.
UVM, KIRC, and DLBC are the cancer types where C2orf66 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
