Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C2orf66 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C2orf66 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher C2orf66 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C2orf66 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM and COAD are the cancer types where C2orf66 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
