Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C1orf43 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C1orf43 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher C1orf43 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C1orf43 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC are the cancer types where C1orf43 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
