Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C1orf226 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C1orf226 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher C1orf226 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C1orf226 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD and CESC are the cancer types where C1orf226 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
