Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C1orf109 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C1orf109 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher C1orf109 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C1orf109 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and LSCC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, LUAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where C1orf109 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
