Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C1RL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C1RL data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher C1RL Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C1RL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, UCEC, and LGG are the cancer types where C1RL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
