Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C19orf54 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C19orf54 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher C19orf54 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C19orf54 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, READ, and BLCA are the cancer types where C19orf54 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
